Analysis of intrinsically flat surfaces and the Willmore functional

We present some recent analysis results about intrinsically flat surfaces
with finite Willmore energy. We also study the restriction of the Willmore functional
to this class of surfaces and present a regularity result for minimizers of
this constrained functional.
