Minimizing polyharmonic maps

We minimize energies for mappings to Riemannian manifolds which 
depend  on higher order derivatives. To prove partial regularity of minimizers, 
we  need explicit constructions of comparison maps in $W^{k,2}(U,N)$. 
In  supercritical domain dimensions, we can construct these only in special cases.
